Welcome to my Blog. Just extension on the man’s cave and local watering hole. It is not for the faint of heart- bunny hugging- tea totting- children of any age- and most wife’s. Only because none of them understand. Guns and gun videos scantly dressed and bare breasted wimmen drinking- racing and hunting stories told here. This blog is for adults with sense of adventure and a demented sense of humor. Feel free to comment and post on here. . Grammar Police are not welcomed here.

Is this another internet hoax?
This one has been running rampant this week on the internet gun and doomsday forums. Is it so?
Fw: Ammunition: DHS buys 450 MILLION rounds of .40 JHP
OK, so this isn't the usual post for 2nd Amendment TV, but it
concerns a boat load of bullets so I figure it's within my purview
to post on it. Some of you might not be as alarmed I am.
The Department of Homeland Security has placed a rather large order
for some 450 million .40 JHP while simultaneously placing orders
for quantities of rifle rounds.
We're not talking range practice ammo either, the .40 is "barrier"
penetrating hollow point ammunition according to the press release.
I know I don't waste my MORE EXPENSIVE hollow points at the range,
though I suppose I wouldn't put that sort of waste past the gov't.
Anyway, I don't know how markets work, but I hope this doesn't
drive ammo prices up.
